Welcome to Pine Tree Crochet!!
My name is Whitney.
I started crocheting and knitting years ago and fell in love with both.
The intricate detail you can create with with a knitted item and the quickness of crochet inspired me to pursue a great hobby.
I started crocheting prayer shawls/blankets/lapghans for people in need for the local church.
There are so many resources online for learning to knit and crochet and create fabulous patterns!
From insects to animals, I enjoy photography and creating memories.
I also enjoy learning new crochet and knitting techniques. While my focus is mainly crochet, I will turn to knitting at times for certain items.
While the summer months are mostly spent outside gardening, crocheting or fishing, the winter months I love cross country skiing and figure skating.
I have a cat that loves strings, but never sits still enough for a glamour shot with any of my creations. He always has his own agenda. I will have to work on this with him ASAP.
