    Pattern Inspiration:

I don’t often crochet things for myself, so I thought this year I need to focus a little more on me. I wanted to make something quick and fun, so I decided to crochet this quick bracelet. One of my testers suggested the bracelet looks like a wavelength and I love alliteration, so naming the pattern after myself was the perfect idea. I experimented with a few different types of yarn and they all worked up nicely.

    Yarn Used and Alternative Suggestions:

This pattern works well using any type of yarn. I have tried this pattern using fingering weight, DK and worsted weight yarn, because I know everyone has different types of yarn in their stash. I think I prefer using the fingering weight yarn because of the small waves it creates. The yarn pictured below is Knit Picks Stroll, in the colorway Raven.

Some alternative yarn brands used by my testers that matched gauge closely were Loops and Threads Woolike (#1) and Red Heart Super Saver (#4). You don’t want an overly stretchy yarn for this pattern, because you want your bracelet to hold its shape. There are also notes below if you prefer to alter your bracelet making a different size than in the pattern.

    WAVELENGTH BRACELET – TESTER PHOTOS:

Behind every designer there is a testing team of amazing crocheters, and I could not have brought this pattern to life without the help of my fabulous testing team! I hope you find some color inspiration from their beautiful wavelength bracelets.
