The Ridgeline Bookmark – A Free Crochet Pattern

Red and Green Crochet Bookmark Pattern

This time of the year can be quite busy. I am always on the lookout for quick and easy crochet patterns and this one has lots of texture! The Ridgeline bookmark pattern is perfect for using up yarn from your stash because it works up quickly, in under 30 minutes, and uses a very small amount of yarn.

Pattern Inspiration:

I fell in love with this stitch when I designed the Ridgeline Pumpkin, a fun decoration to make for fall or Halloween. The one row repeat is very easy to learn and the texture that is created by alternating half double crochet and slip stitches is lovely.

The Ridgeline Mug Cozy, Mug Rug and Beanie are also fee patterns on the blog that use this same stitch. To view these patterns click on the photos below. This stitch works nicely with so many projects!
