I really enjoyed how quick this bookmark was to make and had fun with the texture of crossed dc.
I chose blue and gray and red and gray. But any combination would look great!

NOTES:
- This pattern is written in US terms.
- ch 2 does count as a stitch.
- When you are finished crocheting with a certain color (for 2 rows), you can drop that color and pick up the other color from two rows below.
- I carried the different colors of yarn up the side because it will be hidden with the sc boarder.
- In this pattern I will refer to colors using letters (A and B). Use whichever colors you prefer.
- You can use any yarn and appropriate hook size for this pattern, the finished size and gauge will be different as listed above.
Dimensions: Approx. 6.5″ x 1″
Gauge: Gauge isn’t essential for this project. But if you must know, mine was 8 st and 7 rows = 1″ in pattern (alternating rows of sc and crossed dc).
**If you match the gauge in this pattern your bookmark will be the same size as listed above.
Find out all about gauge including how to measure it and more with a detailed photo tutorial to walk you though it, on the All About Gauge Page.
