Why do I love Scrap Busting Crochet Patterns?
Using up left over yarn from other projects makes me happy because then I can buy more! Some projects definitely require new yarn to be purchased, but scrap busting projects are sometimes quite fun and colorful being able to use up bits and pieces from my stash.
I don’t know about you, but I have a special bin for my left over scraps of yarn and it continues to grow. Some bits are only a few yards of a color and others are more than 50. I would love to use up everything in my stash, if only there were more hours in the day!
When I am designing a new pattern I often look in my stash for colors I don’t often use. This allows me to be creative and just keep crocheting! Color is not always the star of the show when it comes to pattern designing, for me anyway. You never know what’s in your stash until you look and start using it.
