Lets Get Started!

NOTE: To alter the size of your mug rug, use a multiple of 2 + 1 chains to start.

*After each color change, cut and leave a 3″ tail that will be part of the fringe.
**If you do not want to add fringe, change colors as indicated and weave in all ends.

Ridgeline Mug Rug Instructions:

Row 1: With color A, Ch 22 (leaving a 3″ long tail to add to the fringe), hdc in 2nd ch from hook, *sl st, hdc* repeat from * to * across. Turn. (21)

Row 2: With color B, Ch 1, sl st, *hdc, sl st* repeat from * to * across. Turn. (21)

Row 3: With color A, ch 1, hdc, *sl st, hdc* repeat from * to * across. Turn. (21)

Rows 4-19: Repeat rows 2 and 3 (or until desired length).

Finish off leaving a 3″ tail and you are ready to add the fringe.

If you are NOT adding fringe, your mug rug is complete!

Adding the Fringe

Each fringe piece is cut to 6″ in length.

Cut 10 pieces of color A and 9 pieces of color B.

Insert hook into row end, fold fringe piece in half, pull through, yarn over and pull all 3 pieces of fringe through loop. Continue until all pieces of fringe are attached.

Trim the fringe with a ruler and scissors and your Ridgeline Mug Rug is complete!

Congratulations!

Your Mug Rug is now complete!
